Mountain Goat Presentation, Nov. 3
This Friday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m., there will be a presentation about Sewanee, the Mountain Goat Railroad, the Mountain Goat Trail, and the current project creating a trailhead and welcome center at the depot in downtown Sewanee.
Historian Meg Beasley will share news on recent research on the history of Sewanee. Patrick Dean, executive director of the Mountain Goat Trail Alliance, will speak on the development of the rail to trail project from Cowan through Sewanee and on to Palmer.
The event is part of the University of the South’s Class of 1973 as part of their 50th reunion year, and will be in Naylor Auditorium in Gailor Hall at the University.
